We’re so happy to share that one of our rescued donkeys has found the most wonderful new home… all the way on beautiful Achill Island.
This special rehoming came about because a lovely owner reached out to us. They already had one donkey who was feeling lonely and in need of a companion. As many of you know, donkeys are incredibly social animals — they thrive on friendship, bonding, and having another donkey by their side.
After careful checks and making sure it was the perfect match, our rescued boy made the journey to Achill. Now, instead of standing alone, there are two donkeys grazing side by side, keeping each other company just as it should be. 
Seeing our rescues go from uncertainty to safety, friendship, and love is exactly why we do what we do.
