Dog Cruelty – When will it end

Please Share and Help, don’t turn a blind eye tonight and don’t assume someone else will help.

Tonight we sit with tears in our eyes, shaking our heads in dismay, our hearts broken and our spirit crushed, wondering if we are fighting a losing battle, will anything ever change for these animals. Tonight we could express our anger in a million ways, but truthfully we are too upset to be angry and such a post will not help this beautiful girl who needs our help
This afternoon we happened among this little girl. She needed our help and we could not turn our back on her. What a pitiful sight she is, not much more than a pup but a life time of abuse she has led, neglected and left to suffer horrendously.

Covered from head to toe in mange, her skin is on fire, we couldn’t even imagine the pain it has caused her. Open and untreated wounds cover her frail little body, a look of desperation in her eyes.A computer cable wrapped tightly around her neck. It is beyond our comprehension how this girl could be left to suffer like this, how a so called owner could look at her each day and not even care. This little girl is painfully thin, weighing not even half of what she should, probably living on the bare minimum she needed to just survive. Is this a life for any dog? The sheer cruelty is just beyond belief, it’s just heartbreaking to see these innocent little ones subjected to this appalling treatment and sadly we won’t be able to change the world overnight but we will do our absolute best to change the world for this little girl.

She is currently undergoing intensive veterinary treatment, she spent today at our vets, where they have done their absolute best to make her more comfortable and begin her treatment.
We’d like to thank everyone who helped today, those who brought her to our attention and the ladies in the vets who vowed to do their best to help.
This little girl has a very long road to recovery but we are hopeful she will get there and we are more than willing to stay with her every step of the way, we’re also hoping the public will get behind her and do their best to support her, even a couple of euro will help towards her veterinary fees and care.
Tonight she is comfortable, lying in a bed of her own, exhausted and sleeping.
We’re hoping for a Christmas miracle.
